The main character is Tommy Gallagher, a 12 year-old boy who loves to play football. The boy showed brother man how he has handcuffed the crab to itself in order to safely carry it home. It is truly a sad occurrence when little Tad becomes sick and they are unable to break the fever.

In 1955 Mais was forced to return to Jamaica after falling ill with cancer; he died that same year in Kingston at the age of 50. The plays Masks and Paper Hats and Hurricane were performed in 1943, Atlanta in Calydon in 1950; The Potter's Field was published in Public Opinion 1950 , and The First Sacrifice in Focus 1956. I have not been involved in the reading community in the USA, since I left Jamaica, West Indies. I enjoy Stephen King. His character performs miraculous healing and in the end sacrifices himself to society, allowing a mob to expiate themselves with his blood-letting.

Minette secretly loves Brother Man but cannot get him to notice her, so she also flirts with Papacita. Mais focuses on the working class aspirations, fears, and their struggles to make ends meet. Papacita and Brother Man both rise together, given divergent paths based on our worst and our best impulses. For the great idea of Democracy which relegates all "niggers" of whichever race, to their proper place in the scheme of political economy.
