They should also be able to advocate for children and families and build partnerships within the community to support the needs of children and families.

Safe: Candidate provides a safe environment to prevent and reduce injuries. My personal goals are to continue to grow by attending professional development courses to expand my knowledge in early childhood development best practices. The actual room is set in an organized manner with open stations for the children to see materials and are able to play freely. Program Management: Candidate is a manager who uses all available resources to ensure an effective operation. One goal in the functional area of safe is to prevent and reduce injuries and still have a learning environment that is conducive to the children learning their own safe and healthy environments. I will create age appropriate lesson by keeping in mind of each individual child needs. I am also able to empathize with families around stressful areas of parenting, such as lack of sleep, illness, challenging behaviors and I am able to provide support and suggestions when needed or asked.
