If I were a teacher, I would be filled with excitement and enthusiasm for the opportunity to shape the minds of young learners. I would approach each day with energy and dedication, striving to create a classroom environment that is both engaging and supportive.

As a teacher, my primary goal would be to inspire a love of learning in my students. I would strive to create a curriculum that is challenging and rewarding, and that allows students to explore their interests and passions. I would also work to foster a sense of community in my classroom, encouraging students to support and learn from one another.

In order to be an effective teacher, I would also need to be patient, understanding, and open-minded. I would listen to my students' concerns and questions, and do my best to help them find the answers they need. I would also be willing to adapt my teaching style to meet the needs of individual students, whether that means providing extra support for struggling learners or offering more advanced material for those who are ready for a greater challenge.

In addition to being a teacher, I would also strive to be a role model for my students. I would set high standards for myself and work to live up to them, always striving to be the best version of myself. I would also encourage my students to set their own high standards and to work towards achieving their goals.

Overall, if I were a teacher, I would be deeply committed to helping my students grow and succeed. I would work hard to create a positive and supportive learning environment, and to inspire a love of learning in all of my students.

Dae-su completely submits to Woo-jin in exchange for protecting the truth from Mi-do. Retrieved 23 February 2022. This is most certainly an allusion to the enormity of what Dae-su has learned, and the ferocious waves represent the insurmountable task at hand. When all is said and done and Lee kills himself what an anti-climax!! Many people accuse this film of being "unrealistic". But content does not make a movie good or bad -- it is merely what it is about.

In the school-set re-working of Cyrano, an awkward but imaginative pupil helps the handsome but spectacularly dim school-hero pursue the fiery daughter of a visiting French teacher. While part of that is due to Woo-jin's plotting, much of it simply comes from the fact that they are two wounded men who have been through a massive amount of trauma from which they will ultimately be unable to recover. By now, everyone over the age of 10 knows that, so what was the deal here? It's got those subtitles that fade when the background's light, and they flick by pretty fast too. It's been said already though that Park is pursuing cult status faster than he can keep up with himself. Director Park Chan-wook, in an interview, shed light on one of the central themes in the plot.

Retrieved November 29, 2013. You barely hear snippets of conversation over the loud music, and Fujishima and editor At first, Fujishima feels just like a straightforward anti-hero, the bad cop trying to do one last good thing, but that interpretation changes relatively quickly. Dae-su knew the truth, but Mi-do never finds out. It would NEVER be picked up in Hollywood. Han for trying to kill Woo-jin; Dae-su cuts his tongue out in a desperate attempt to stop Woo-jin from telling Mi-do; Woo-jin commits suicide, denying Dae-su his revenge; and finally, Dae-su gets re-hypnotized to forget everything, although it's unclear if it works, and he's last seen still with Mi-do. The film shows the man committing suicide moments later. The music sticks in your head and every time I put in my Oldboy-DVD and the theme-song comes up, I'm just flooded with good memories even though the plot doesn't have a single reason to be happy about. He pounds the wall until his fists grow bloody, and then hardened. As the elevator descends, he puts his gun to his temple and kills himself. The ending in which Dae-su goes to the New Zealand Alps to be hypnotised feels tagged on as well almost as if the makers wanted some sort of happy ending. The first time I saw it, I wasn't blown away, just kind of like whatever. Music and choreography is great as well.

Notice how the discussion is no longer about the movie, but about who Metcalf thinks is a nerd. I am speaking of course, of the controversial and amazingly elegant film "Oldboy. This is a pretty juvenile kind of ethics, to be blunt about it. He's still overall a sympathetic character, however, which makes what happens to him all the worse. Obsessed with vengeance, a man sets out to find out why he was kidnapped and locked into solitary confinement for twenty years without reason.

Director Park Chan-wook won prize Grand Jury at Cannes. He compiles a list of all those who might want to imprison him, and writes letters to eventually be given to Mia. The film ends there, leaving whether or not the hypnosis worked, whether or not he was ever hypnotized, whether or not any of it will be enough to heal Dae-su's mental scars, and even whether or not any of the above actually happened all unknown. The fact that neither remake includes the whole of the final twist likely came as no surprise to Park Chan-wook. . Once recruited, he goes from small-town thug to a proper butt-kicking gentleman. There's no blood at all in the won.

Retrieved 23 February 2022. There's violence too, of course. Retrieved September 25, 2012. The movie seems to suggest that the bad guy's sexual relationship with his sister is just fine, the problem seems to be Dae-Su's big mouth. The key premise is original, which is rare enough by itself, and when you add to that some good writing you get a great film. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a film as much as this one.

From this tale, Freud developed the Oedipal complex, which loosely theorizes the feelings of desire experienced by a child for an opposite-sex parent. Maybe the point is that everyone feels themselves righteous until they realize the true dimensions of their "sin". This routine continues for 15 years. Both films revolve around extracting brutal revenge. It should be understood itself in that extreme context. What this film has is the ability to be sublime, shocking, ridiculous, mildly amusing and visually stunning which is some feat for any film. Retrieved 1 March 2022.

I bow to them because this movie is so good, with all those twists and it really represents a whole new wave of making a movie, of writing a script and of acting in it. Look beyond the violence and see the things I mentioned before: world class acting, cinematography, music and last but certainly not least the plot. So do yourself a favor, watch Oldboy. It's not a pleasant thing to say about any dead girl, but it really hits an overhearing Woo-jin hard on a personal level, and is one of the very few times that someone cracks through the controlled scenario he's spent so many long years constructing. Occasionally a little tune plays, the room fills with gas, and when he regains consciousness the room has been cleaned, his clothes have been changed, and he has received a haircut.
