This was a fast paced, tongue in cheek thriller, I enjoyed it. I was not able to read through the whole chapter, I felt very dizzy. She then began playing with the dolls and afterwards started looking around. How the characters are coping with no modern amenities or food, who has died and what the remaining characters will do to themselves and others to obtain fame and sympathy once they're rescued. In Chuck Palahniuk's novel, Haunted, there is a story that is so gruesome it has made 73 people faint at his readings—so far. These stories are going to stick in your brain.

It didn't have the usual fast pace action. When the narrator enters the drawing room, trying to catch a glimpse of the ghosts, all the narrator sees is that an apple has shifted. Love upon their lips. Standout favorites herein have to be "Guts", "Hot Potting", "Swan Song", and the uber-disturbing gender-role swapping of "Speaking Bitterness". While Robert, Simon and Christina cackle mockingly within the flames at his imminent death, Juliet suddenly appears and walks through the flames, takes David by the hand and rescues him from the inferno. The Yellow Wallpaper is a great example of haunting verse insanity and it is clear to see that Jane is haunted because of the condition that her bedroom is in, how she is seeing figures in the wall, and when her husband's comes into her bedroom and faints.
