Inkheart is a novel by Cornelia Funke about a young girl named Meggie who discovers that her father, Mo, has the ability to bring characters from books to life by reading aloud from them. This power, known as "silvertongue," has caused Mo a great deal of trouble in the past, as he has accidentally brought dangerous characters into the real world.
One day, a mysterious man named Dustfinger arrives at Mo and Meggie's home, seeking Mo's help in returning to the book from which he was brought. I'm not a grammar expert AT ALL, but just in case you do go in, make sure you DON'T write it to match up with character pages, because those are in-universe articles. But Fenoglio has writer's block and it is getting hard to write anything.
