Insidious is a horror film released in 2010 that follows the story of a young family as they struggle to understand and defeat a supernatural entity that is terrorizing their son.
The film opens with a young boy, Dalton, playing with a toy in his bedroom while his mother, Renai, works in the next room. Suddenly, Dalton falls into a coma and is rushed to the hospital. The doctors are unable to find a cause for his condition, and he remains in a coma for an extended period of time.
As the family tries to cope with the situation, strange events begin to occur in their home. Renai and her husband, Josh, hear strange noises and see shadowy figures lurking in the corners of their house. They also experience strange visions and hallucinations.
Despite their efforts to protect their son, the supernatural entity continues to haunt the family and threaten Dalton's safety. In desperation, they seek the help of a group of paranormal investigators who specialize in helping people with similar experiences.
The investigators discover that the supernatural entity is a malevolent spirit known as a "Lipstick-Face Demon," which has been haunting the family for years. They also learn that the spirit has been using Dalton as a conduit to enter the physical world.
With the help of a medium, the family is able to confront the Lipstick-Face Demon and banish it from their home. However, they soon realize that the spirit is not the only threat they face, as another malevolent entity begins to haunt them.
In the end, the family is able to defeat the second entity and bring their son out of his coma. They are finally able to find peace and return to a normal life, free from the terror of the supernatural.
Insidious is a tense and suspenseful film that explores the horror of the unknown and the power of the human spirit to overcome even the most terrifying of foes. Its compelling story and talented cast make it a must-see for fans of the horror genre.
Insidious: The Last Key
Little do they know that there is much more to this endless sleep than meets the eye as they explore the paranormal, and rediscover the past; the key to getting their son back once and for all. In a post-credits scene, the shadowy, old woman can be seen blowing out a candle and the screen fades into total darkness. The camera pans up; we see nothing - yet - behind her; but Elise does, and the expression on her face is one of abject terror, as she exclaims, trembling; 'Oh, my god! However, Elise explains that she is being hunted by another demon which is the reason Elise was originally retired. The Lambert family moves in with Lorraine, to try and get away from the things which they experienced in the first film. This forms a powerful impression on her and a new core memory — a sad one — is thus created. Sean comforts Harry as he weeps and talks about how much he loved her.
One evening, Dalton sees the attic door open and goes to investigate after hearing sounds upstairs. Elise is now willing to help, this time she is much more powerful and confident. PLOT SUMMARY Insidious Chapter 3 is meant to be a prequel to the first two movies. Sean contacts Elise, who hesitantly enters the spiritual realm which she calls "The Further". He replies saying that he was not at home at that time.

It seems a lot more likely that the old woman possessing Josh will torment the family and try to possess them all, especially Dalton, who seems to be the most susceptible to it. She grabs a box cutter and nearly slits her throat until the men subdue her. All of this eventually becomes too much for Renai and she demands that the family moves to a new house. Josh chokes and kills Elise while everyone is distracted, leaving no evidence that he was the one to murder her.

He might be able to become so well versed with the paranormal world that he is able to keep spirits at bay and also fight them, somewhat like a more powerful version of Elise. To prepare to astral-project and find his son, Elise sits him in a chair and places him in a trance. In the new house, the supernatural events continue to occur, such as a strange, dancing boy, and soon become increasingly sinister. Josh opens his eyes in the physical world, and all the spirits immediately disappear. John Anderson of Insidious establishes that these folks can make a film that operates on an entirely different level, sans gore, or obvious gimmicks. She is called for help by Ted Garza, who has been experiencing paranormal activity since moving into his house.
Young Josh leads them to where they need to go and the group discovers the home of Parker Crane. Despite only sporting three — soon to be four — films, the Insidious series has a rather complex timeline. Five of her emotions are personified and are manifested by characters.
