Julius Caesar, also known as Gaius Julius Caesar, was a Roman general and statesman who played a critical role in the end of the Roman Republic and the rise of the Roman Empire. He is one of the most famous historical figures of all time and his name has become synonymous with leadership, military prowess, and political intrigue.
Caesar was born in 100 BC in Rome and grew up in a time of great political turmoil.
