My first cell phone was a transformative experience that changed the way I communicated with others and accessed information. Prior to owning a cell phone, I relied on a landline for communication and had to physically go to a library or use a computer to access the internet.
I remember the excitement I felt when my parents surprised me with my first cell phone on my 16th birthday. It was a basic flip phone with limited features, but to me, it felt like the ultimate technology.
