Orbitz showed me a reservation that was on the wrong date. We've had equally solid experiences with customer service, travel reservations, and such between the two sites. I ended up cancelling the trip for a third time, said screw Orbitz, and booked through Expedia and the hotel directly. Typically, this information is kept confidential within the company and it is not shared with help desks, thus, that is the reason the help desk people does not see the glitch. Is that my fault? I contacted Orbitz to extend my car rental by 2 days. Had purchased airline tickets but canceled because could not travel on the scheduled day. Airlines should stop all business with this MAFIA in Chikago! I don't really fell like spending the phone time with customer service. Two days before the return flight on the 30th, I called Orbitz to let them know I had to cancel that flight. A few days later, I double checked departure times and found, to my great surprise, the reservation downgraded to business class.
