Sabrina Fair is a play by Samuel Taylor that was first produced on Broadway in 1953. It tells the story of Sabrina, a young woman who has spent most of her life as the chauffeur's daughter on a wealthy Long Island estate. Despite her humble origins, Sabrina is a beautiful and intelligent young woman who has always dreamed of a better life.

Linus, who has already arranged a car and a tugboat to wait for David, assists him to rush off and joins Sabrina's ship before it leaves the harbor. Hamilton, a historical reference to Alexander Hamilton has become one of the most popular musicals to take the stage. Born Samuel Albert Tanenbaum, in a Jewish family, in Chicago, Illinois, Taylor made his Broadway debut as author of the play The Happy Time in 1950. David is a playboy, constantly falling in love, yet he has never noticed Sabrina, much to her dismay. Sabrina falls in love with Linus, even though she quotes others as calling him "the world's only living heart donor" and someone who "thinks that morals are paintings on walls and scruples are money in Russia. I've not seen either film version but my understanding is that they do not deal with the class issues at all, which to me is the strongest part of this work. He wrote the play Sabrina Fair 1953 and co-wrote its film adaptation released the following year. After Linus manipulates David into sitting on champagne glasses in his back pocket, resulting in injuries that require David to be on painkillers, Linus redirects Sabrina's affections to himself in order to keep David's wedding on track. It works: David falls in love with Sabrina and wants to marry her. A fine play that, under proper direction, can be smart and funny.
