But as a series, The SImpsons is the better, and Family Guy has not surpassed in terms of quality or comedy. At the heart of the series is a family that truly loves each other, flaws and all. Both Family Guy and Family Guy makes it a lot easier to laugh out loud. I cannot object to Family Guy being honored with this nomination with the argument that the Simpsons should have gotten it first it should have. In the end, The Simpsons does lack a lot in that aspect.

That's one of the best ways to guarantee everyone forgets you exist and cease to be relevant.
