The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is a historical fiction novel by John Boyne. The story is narrated by Bruno, a young boy who is the son of a high-ranking Nazi officer. Bruno's family is forced to leave their comfortable home in Berlin and move to a house called "Out-With" in Poland, where Bruno's father is tasked with overseeing a concentration camp.
