Bad Girls Don't Die is a young adult horror novel written by Katie Alender and published in 2009. It is the second book in the Bad Girls Don't Die series, which follows the story of Alexis, a teenage girl who is struggling to come to terms with the strange occurrences happening in her town and her own family.

In the second book, Alexis is still trying to uncover the truth about what is happening in her town. She is dealing with the aftermath of the events of the first book and trying to figure out how to stop the spirits that are haunting her. The spirits seem to be getting stronger and more dangerous, and Alexis is not sure how to protect herself and her loved ones.

As she investigates, Alexis discovers that there may be a connection between the spirits and her own family. She uncovers secrets about her ancestors and realizes that the spirits may be tied to them in some way. This realization only adds to the confusion and fear that Alexis is already feeling.

Throughout the book, Alexis grapples with the idea of good and evil and what it means to be a "bad girl." She is torn between wanting to do what is right and trying to protect those she loves, even if it means going against the rules or doing things that may be considered "bad."

As the book comes to a close, Alexis is faced with a final, terrifying confrontation with the spirits. She must use all of her strength and determination to defeat them and find a way to banish them from her town forever.

Overall, Bad Girls Don't Die Book 2 is a thrilling and suspenseful read that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. It is a compelling exploration of the blurred lines between good and evil and the power of love and family.

I liked her because she wasn't the stereotypical bitchy cheerleader, and I liked the part she played in the story. Lutie Johnson, however, finds the setting agreeable and rises to challenges posed by the city in order to achieve her goals. It was spooky, it had possession and a good vengeful spirit background. Kasey, her doll-obsessed little sister, is sometimes too passive for her own good, but hopefully the doll-collecting is something she will grow out of. . Then, as time went on, she started to hang out with her, but still kept her distance. It wasn't nearly the best book about paranormal activity, but for a book intended for younger teens it was okay.

It starts small, with her eyes sometimes changing color from blue to green and using old-fashioned language, like "oughtn't. . I read a lot of children's horror and this read a lot like that. The structure she uses is clear and engages the reader. You'll find out some shocking things about her past. And no smell of the pages, and seeing the book's cover calling to me.

I've been in the mood to read something scary, and have recently red The Amityville Horror and The Haunting of Hill House, and neither of those ones creeped me out at all, however this YA horror that's been sitting on my shelf for years did the trick! A pet peeve I have is seeing obvious typos in books. I'm not sure if it was because I had an e-copy, but I saw some pretty obvious ones and that is always annoying when you see it. So an awkward, half hilarious, half scared, laugh is elicited. This book has a little of everything in it too. Even Stephen King's Joyland didn't have quite the impact it had on me than Bad Girls Don't Die.

Score one for actual frightening YA ghost stories! I generally really like ghost stories. Then Kelsey was with me on the island, braiding my hair and singing me Christmas carols. It just kept twisting. It's scary enough for readers new to ghost stories but not scary enough for readers experienced with them. I think your enjoyment of this hinges on two factors: whether you have a little sister no seriously , and whether you're a fan of more straightforward ghost stories.

Instead she talks about the color of the sky, and the mood of the scene. This book is so unlike all the other books with ghosts and what-not in them. Kasey is acting stranger than ever: her blue eyes go green sometimes; she uses old-fashioned language; and she even loses track of chunks of time, claiming to know nothing about her strange behavior. A little giggle to yourself looking crazed to the world through their eyes makes it so much more sweeter. Not only has this been overly done in YA already, the whole romance aspect in Bad Girls Don't Die didn't have a purpose in the book at all.

She's thirteen but she acts seven, and she collects a lot of dolls and talks to them. The love interest is Carter Blume, a preppy guy who was surprisingly very sweet even when he and Alexis first met. Review: "This book made me wish I still slept with a night-light! It's a damn ghost story for R. Come play with us. The little girl "Kasey" is supposed to be creepy. He'd marry them with his Max Steel - all of them, because they were all obviously crazy about his rugged good looks and tanned six pack - and then make them have catfights and gossip sessions and whatever else he thought girls did when they looked as fabulous as did his barbies.

I had so much fun with the creepy ghost related paranormal vibes from her Famous Last Words that I knew I couldn't resist another one. In other words, hell yes, I recommend it to you. . Ghost stories are my weakness. When Kasey starts using words that normally don't belong in her normal vocabulary, and moving around the house at odd hours, Alexis starts to worry.

There was also Megan Wiley, the cheerleader who surprisingly has a big part in this book. Soon Alexis learns that the girls have pledged an oath to a seemingly benevolent spirit named Aralt. She attended high school at the Palm Beach County School of the Arts, studying Communication Arts. Yay for good book mitosis! Dreyfoos High School of the Arts, before pursuing filmmaking at Florida State University. This is the first occurrence of something unusual that Alexis notices. I'm almost disappointed that there's a sequel, because this novel is really strong as a standalone. Doors open and close by themselves; water boils on the unlit stove; and an unplugged air conditioner turns the house cold enough to see their breath in.
