Honestly, with her leather jacket and tied-back blonde hair, she looks more like Black Canary. Ed Brubakers sublime 2003 story The Man Who Laughs builds upon The Killing Jokes version of the origin, whilst at the same time re-telling the story of Jokers first appearances from Batman Issue 1 in 1940. Star Wars - All works related the Star Wars franchise. . This is good, but there's some element keeping me from loving it. It is also possible that much of this life story was an hallucination brought on by feelings of suppressed guilt as Snyders new take on the Red Hood character sank to the bottom of the chemical cocktail. The best case of actually seeing him perform this concept is during "The Clown at Midnight".

The Dark Knight 2008 Christopher Nolan intended to leave his iteration of the Joker intentionally vague, making him all the more elemental a force of nature. But i don't mean that as something negative, i love it! However, nobody had ever explained the characters ghoulish appearance, nor where he came from and what in the world his motivations might have been. He sees himself as the lord of misrule, and the world as a theatre of the absurd. Perhaps the Joker is simply coping with an obviously fake world as best as he can. I had just read Harleen having had a load of Harley books on my iPad and this is a great counterpoint to that. I still like that hypothesis. I have always loved comics, and I hope always to love them.

Sure, it hits the usual beats: the police are in over their heads, so they bring in someone who specializes in criminal psychology to help investigate the crimes. I like this melding as well. I am oficially insane since the age of 13 according to the state of pennsylvania you know the state where american draculya lives lol and then changed states to texas where im technically by law sane for now. The art is gorgeous, really really realistic and yes, really gruesome sometimes.

Trying to uncover the Joker's origins would hurt the Joker's character in the long run in the same way a criminal uncovering the Batman's origins would hurt Batman in the long run. Despite a healthy dose of controversy, writer and Batman co-creator Bill Finger did such a good job crafting the story that fans are still debating it to this day. Why would anyone think it lets him know he's in a comicbook or that its a super power? I didn't think I'd be able to enjoy a story about Harley by anyone other than Stjepan Šejić, but Kami Garcia did a good job. It gets way too realistic at times. Why, despite all the negative feelings that he elicits, is the Joker such a compelling character? There are no jokes, no wit, no unpredictability, no chaos - none of those things that define these iconic, firecracker characters.

Do I have to give this explication again. I also work as a journalist as well as writing comic books I also draw , screenplays, stage plays, songs and prose fiction. Or in a way since the authors created him and his actions he puts the blame of the victims deaths back onto the author. Upset the established order, and everything becomes chaos. If you make a claim against an evidenced source, burden of proof is on you to provide counterevidence. Edit: Imagine being able to adapt your personality to any situation presented to you. Back in the comics, Alan Moore revived the now-classic 1951 Bill Finger story, before adding a huge dose of pathos and tragedy to it for 1988s The Killing Joke graphic novel. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just 2. So if you're reading this, thank you, you've made me feel like Shakespeare for a day! Not impressed The art is gorgeous but so far the story is boring fanfiction. Really hope the next issue is faster paced. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I might give the second issue a try, but, so far, I very much prefer the I am unsure what to say about this Harley. What bothers me here is the need not just to make Harley smart but no, she has to be a genius, she must be not just the smartest person in the room but the smartest on the next few city blocks. Now, he just wants his arch-rival to acknowledge that what the two of them share is special. The concept of "super sanity" is hard to define, but it all comes down to perception. Questions about a specific feat, or context are fine.
