I looked out and saw the Kabuliwala, with his hands tied up, being dragged away by two policemen. I do not come here to make sales. The story, which was originally written in Bengali, has been translated into numerous languages and has become a classic piece of literature. After a few days, one morning when I was about to leave the house, I was surprised to see Mini and the Kabuliwala sitting in the courtyard and chatting. I felt sad for the Kabuliwala, for people think bad of him. Rahamat is sent to jail.

The story realises that Since Indian classic are close to my heart, I decided to do review one of the masterpiece of Rabindranath Tagore's 'Kabuliwala'. It was not a photograph or oil painting. The narrator fails to inform her that it is Mini who is being married today, instead insisting that she go to her house since there is a problem. He had a daughter like Mini back home. It seemed to me that in all the five years of her life, she had never got a listener more patient than the man from Afghanistan - other than myself, of course! Ramdayal the doorkeeper calls a crow a krow! Since early dawn to-day the wedding-pipes had been sounding, and at each beat my own heart throbbed. Looking back, the only thing of which I feel certain is that I am a poet ami kavi. So too can Rahman be with his daughter back in his village.

Hitherto we had been perfectly happy, as we did not know that secret and unheard-of forces were at work, that the Russians had advanced close to us, that the English had deep and secret policies, that confusion among the native chiefs had come to a head.
