Moshe bejski Rating: 7,7/10 844 reviews

Moshe Bejski was a Holocaust survivor and human rights activist who dedicated his life to seeking justice for victims of the Holocaust and promoting tolerance and understanding.

Born in Poland in 1922, Bejski was just a teenager when the Nazis invaded and began their campaign of persecution against Jews and other minority groups. Despite the dangers, Bejski resisted the Nazi regime and worked to protect his community, eventually being arrested and sent to Auschwitz concentration camp in 1943.

After surviving the Holocaust, Bejski dedicated himself to ensuring that the atrocities of the Holocaust were never forgotten and that the perpetrators were brought to justice. He served as a member of the International Commission on Holocaust Era Insurance Claims, working to help survivors and their families receive compensation for insurance policies that were never paid out due to the Holocaust.

In addition to his work on behalf of Holocaust survivors, Bejski was also actively involved in promoting human rights and tolerance. He served as the President of the International Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists, and worked to combat hate crimes and discrimination around the world.

Throughout his life, Bejski remained dedicated to fighting for justice and promoting understanding and tolerance. His tireless efforts to honor the victims of the Holocaust and promote human rights have inspired countless others to follow in his footsteps.
