As a child, I have always been fascinated by art and design. I would spend hours drawing and creating my own pieces, and even as I grew older and pursued other interests, my love for art never waned. It was only natural, then, that I began to consider a career in graphic design.
Graphic design, to me, is more than just a career choice. It is a way for me to express myself creatively and to make a tangible impact on the world around me. The ability to create visual content that can be used for anything from marketing campaigns to websites to packaging design is incredibly exciting to me.
What really draws me to graphic design, however, is the constantly evolving nature of the field. With the rapid advancement of technology and the increasing reliance on visual content, there is always something new to learn and new challenges to tackle. This means that as a graphic designer, I will never be bored or stagnant in my career. I will always have the opportunity to grow and improve my skills, and to take on new and exciting projects.
In addition to the creative and dynamic nature of the field, I am also drawn to graphic design because of the opportunity it provides to make a difference. As a graphic designer, I have the power to communicate important messages and ideas through my work. Whether it is creating a website for a non-profit organization or designing packaging for a new product, my designs have the ability to reach and impact people in a meaningful way.
Overall, my desire to become a graphic designer stems from my love of art and design, my interest in the constantly evolving nature of the field, and my passion for using my skills to make a difference. I will often make free wallpapers for friends, family, and teammates to first get better at what I do and have more experience but also to get feedback on what to work on next time. Adobe Illustrator, although not as common as Photoshop, is also used in graphic design. Homework gives the students an opportunity to learn how to work independently. There is an argument that this is a field where design has taken over from art, partly because the visual elements of design have become so much more refined. My breath was so heavy that I felt that I was about to drop out and pass out.
