In the second series the one that Baldacci concluded members of their family have been taken captive by the arch-nemesis of the Cahills, the Vespers. I honestly loved the whole idea of no trust between the Vespers and the tension between Isabel and Damien. Anyone could have done a better job except perhaps Stephanie Meyer. No sinners at all conceal, Whose and The upon a Amidst a lo, Israel's Holy One! Throughout the book she needed to get her priorities straight. And did the author even read the rest of the series?
